Laura's Fun Family Photo Shoot!

My co-worker Laura bought a family photo session from me for her parents for Christmas, and we finally just got around to doing it. It was my very first on location shoot outside of Gainesville and it was a blast! We met in St. Augustine and did some picture around the Fort, and then headed to the beach for a few more fun shots. The day was absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't have asked for more cooperative weather. We had so much fun, and lots of laughs. Everybody was super relaxed and there was such an evident fun, family bond.

My best friend and her brothers wanted a portrait session so they could give their mom pictures of them for Christmas. It was a quick, half an hour session at Cellon Oak Park, and the photos turned out great. What an attractive family :)

So by now I've done photoshoots for three of my co-workers at Merle Norman. I find this rather comical. After having done Ashley and Laura Meffen's shoots, Laura West was feeling a little left out; so she booked a session. We did some downtown, some at my place, and some at Cellon Oak Park. She looked fabulous, and we had a blast!

A couple of weeks ago my co-worker Ashley asked me about setting up a photo session with her. We threw a date out and met up. It wasn't very organized, and almost seemed spur of the moment - just the way I like it. We met at the most perfect photoshoot time - 10 in the morning. The lighting was great. The weather was a little chilly, but absolutely perfect. We had a really good time, and she was very natural and fun.

Cameron and Christina's Wedding

This past weekend I was given the wonderful opportunity of photographing the wedding of Cameron and Christina. I had done their engagement photos a few months back, and was so excited to take pictures at their wedding. Christina made the most beautiful bride, and Cameron was probably the most fun groom I've worked with. Together they were just inspiring. Watching them stirred in me such an excitement about the day I will be given in marriage to a godly man. They love Jesus with all their heart, and their story and relationship is so very exciting. I had a load of fun with this job. I'm finishing up the pictures - I've only got a few more to go. I should be done in a day or two. Here's a sneak peak of what's to come.

Hey Friends,

Welcome to my new Portfolio/Blog. This is something I've been wanting to do for a while, and am very excited to get it started up. From here on out I will be sharing a little more with you on all of my upcoming photography jobs. I'll share some of the highlights from all of my photo shoots and weddings, along with details of the events and the fun times had. I've got a wedding coming up this Saturday that I cannot wait to share with you. It's a beautiful christian couple that are so obviously in love and I cannot wait to help them remember their special day together.
